We understand that a trip to the Dentist can spark distress in many people. Being aware of this, we have enlisted the help of Dr Gupta's family dog, Rani.

Dr. Sandeep 'Sandy' Gupta
Tooth Specialist

Prior to joining TMDental, Dr Gupta was the Senior Dentist at the Gold Coast University Hospital Dental Clinic. Here he was managing the complex oral care needs of special needs adults and children. Dr Gupta will explain any work that needs to be done to ensure that you are at ease with what he is doing. His areas of interest include Facial Pain, and Sleep Dentistry, as well as understanding the role that the Oral Cavity plays in identifying and managing systemic disease. While you're in the chair you might be able to hear him singing along to the radio. When he's not at work, Sandeep enjoys doing yoga, playing tennis or going bike riding with his family.

Rani
Therapy Dog

Rani is Dr Gupta's family dog. She is a Golden Retriever crossed with a Labradoodle. She has undergone intensive training in order to become a therapy dog. While she is on her mat, she loves a pat and a cuddle. As much as we would love to have her in the surgery, the Australian Dental Association has said that she must remain in the waiting room.
