Dr. Sandeep 'Sandy' Gupta

Tooth Specialist

Prior to joining TMDental, Dr Gupta was the Senior Dentist at the Gold Coast University Hospital Dental Clinic. He was managing the complex oral care needs of special needs adults and children at the hospital. His experience at the hospital has made him all the more cautious of the fearful mindset of the patients. Dr Gupta explains the procedure to the patients to ensure that they are at ease during the treatment. He key areas of interests are in facial pain, sleep dentistry, as well as understanding the role that oral cavity plays in identifying and managing systemic diseases. He is a music lover and while you're in the chair, you might be able to hear him singing along the radio. When he's not at work, Dr Gupta enjoys doing yoga, playing tennis or going bike riding with his family.

Dr Eyk Schiller

Eyk grew up in the eastern part of Germany and studied Dentistry at Leipzig University, graduated in 2002 and completed his PhD in Muscle Physiology in 2005. Apart from taking care of dental issues in “oral dining rooms” (patients’ mouths), Eyk tackles Postural Disorders, Orofacial Pain such as Headaches, Back pain and TMJ (Jaw Joint) Disorders from a systemic perspective. Eyk is an active member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Orofacial Pain (ANZAOP), as well as the German Society for German Society for Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine (DGZMK) and the German Society for Craniomandibular Function and Disorders (DGFDT). His bright personality & caring nature has already made him a hit with our patients. At present, he is available Tuesdays, Thursdays & every second Friday.

We have a dedicated team of qualified, caring, trained and knowledgeable dental care professionals who have been helping patients get back their perfect smiles.

Shalini is mother to three children, and does a lot of behind the scenes running at Tamborine Mountain Dental. She loves healthy cooking and sourcing produce from local markets. She enjoys going to the gym to stay active and fit. Shalini has a ready smile, and is a delight to work with.

Janine has been in the dental industry for over 30 years. She is happy to help you with any questions you may have & is our very friendly front desk receptionist /assistant practice manager. Janine is a mad animal lover & when not at work you will find her with her beloved horses.

Erin is a certified dental nurse, currently completing additional studies to complete the highest standard in dental nursing. Erin loves gardening, and often shares her home-grown produce with us, including an array of yummy chutneys and pickles. She is an expert sandwich maker – sandwiches you can’t believe taste so good. A wife and a mother of two boys, she is generous and kind hearted, which is reflected in her care.

Liam has shown a keen interest in the dental industry so is doing some work place training with us.He is a very friendly, caring young man. He loves looking after his guinea pigs & going to the beach.

Rani is Dr Gupta's family dog. She is a Golden Retriever crossed with a Labradoodle. She has undergone intensive training in order to become a therapy dog. While she is on her mat, she loves a pat and a cuddle. As much as we would love to have her in the surgery, the Australian Dental Association has said that she must remain in the waiting room.
